Gameplay Changes

• Reforged graphics mode is now disabled. The map will always load in classic graphics regardless of player options.
• Updated items system to allow having disabled items in the inventory (e.g. Blastocyst on MQ-3 Predator or Arclite M23 Hecate on classes other than Flamethrower)
• Civilians can no longer use primary weapons (but they can still carry them). They can still use light weapons (M320, Benelli RMS-8 and Browning RMS-12A)
• Civilians can no longer pickup heavy explosives (SMAW, XML-9C Shiva and FGM-148 Javelin Missile)
• The FGM-148 Javelin Missile can no longer be carried at the same time as other heavy weapons.
• Enabled native WC3 item stacking introduced in Reforged. This only applies to items that stack with themselves, so for example M320 + HEDP is excluded.
• Updated containment titan nuke ping timers to 120/60/30 seconds based on difficulty.
• Reduced number of titan nuke drops from 5 to 4 on hell difficulty.
• Osiris can no longer spawn during USS Independence escort mission.
• Etaphreven can no longer spawn in Magnificent Bastards.
• Players are now invulnerable during chapter transition.
• The number of EM Sphere release codes required is now reduced when a player leaves the game.
• If all players die while EM Sphere is charging, or the player with the last required activation code dies/leaves, the EM Sphere will now be activated.
• All spawns from caves and waterfalls are now random (with the exception of the 1st wave at the start of the game and the spawns for the USS Independence event)
• Enemies will no longer spawn from closed caves (total amount is not reduced, they just spawn elsewhere)
• Golf marines no longer spawn in caves or waterfalls in Lost Cause.
• Havok can now see invisible units in hell difficulty.
• Slightly reduced the damage of danger zones from FM and Satchels.
• Multiple players can now use laser designator on the same target and they will all have vision of it.
• Enabled safe location system for all random enemy spawns to prevent them from happening within player range.
• Forward stations are no longer owned by players in Deathmatch mode.
• Players can no longer spawn inside the tunnel.
• The sheep pen fences are now destructible.
• The EM Sphere release codes are now randomly generated with the pattern [A-Z1-9]{4} instead of chosen from a random predefined set.
• Parasite infections are now properly counted as ailments.
• The timeout to switch to Revelation if Lyganesh is not attacked in Delta is now based on the distance it spawns from players.
• Removed time-based seed used for the -random command.
• Killing Prometheus after Residence 41 has been destroyed no longer gives XP.
• [Forward Observer]: Reduced cost of White Phosphorus and Illumination Rounds from 5 shells to 3 shells.
• [Forward Observer]: Removed Ordnance Handling ability.
• [Combat Engineer]: Failing to place the Communications Array due to location will now reset the ability cooldown.
• [Assaultman]: Increased energy cost of claymores from 25 to 35.
• [Assaultman]: Added Ordnance Handling ability.
• [MQ-3 Predator]: Added searchlight ability.

ALICE Changes

• Added discord link on all end game messages and quest menu (website link is still there, we now have both).
• Each player can now have a different sitrep mode.
• Removed command to set mission objective using sitrep.
• Context tagging now specifies the medical condition of the target (e.g. "I have open wounds" instead of "I need medical assistance").
• Context tagging now allows targetting allied explosives.
• Added total ailments to -ac.
• Added necrotroph to -ac.
• Removed -aca message at the start of the game. The functionality is still available but won't be advertised to avoid confusing new players.
• Added tutorial message explaining poppers to new players.

Visual Changes

• Mundus no longer has a health bar.
• Updated model for MQ-3 Predator (model by ILH)
• Updated model for the sheep pen fences (model by Grey Knight)
• Camera view modes and first person modes are no longer enabled while watching a replay.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed tooltip for Arclite M23 Hecate to reflect that increased attack speed amount is 20%, not 30%.
• Fixed tooltip for SAM-R to reflect that increased sight range is 300, not 250.
• Added extra check to the AI smoke grenades trigger to prevent it from running on player controlled units.
• Fixed bug that allowed saving 4 times per game instead of 3.
• Fixed incorrect initialization for containment spawns trigger. This may result in an increase of up to 80% for some spawns.
• Ailment reductions from abilities are no longer player-wide. Meaning marine reinforcements or rescued civilians no longer get these benefits.
• Ailment reduction from antibiotics now only works when applied to heroes.
• Fix Machine Gunner, Combat Engineer and Designated Marksman not allowed for privates in Bootcamp mode.
• Spore parasite spawn timer now properly scales to the number of players.
• Players that leave the game before selecting a class are no longer considered alive for balancing/spawns.
• Hero selection units for empty slots are now removed after map start.
• Player handicap no longer has any effect on the game.
• Removed permanent camera shake in Deathmatch mode.
• Fixed Assaultman upgrades not working after reviving in Deathmatch mode.
• Fixed some difficulty modifiers (higher immortal respawn rate, ailment chance) not being applied with high SR.
• Refactored movement speed adjustment system to prevent unintended speed changes.
• Fixed Magnificent Bastards LZs being generated after the "no further landings" message.
• Fixed sprinting while having a fracture not dealing damage.
• Fixed delta helicopter cleanup impacting player controlled helicopters.
• The 5 minutes Moirae timer no longer breaks after 1h.
• Fix Ogilvy not changing position properly after he gets his gun.
• [Rifleman]: Critical Strike is now leveled correctly.
• [Flamethrower]: Fixed incorrect hotkey for learning Fortitudine.
• [Combat Engineer]: Failing to place the Communications Array due to location no longer gives back more energy than the cost of the ability.

• Added basic W3MMD integration.
• Moved all trigger code to a Visual Studio Code workspace outside the map to facilitate development and improve version control.
• Refactored all player data into a single struct.
• Moved constant values to a separate file.

Gameplay Changes

• Restored EM Sphere damage to the value in 1.7.1 (no longer reduced in Hell difficulty)
• Replaced Thanatos spawn during convoy in Hell difficulty with a new Etaphreven variant.
• The convoy boss can no longer spawn right when poppers spawn.
• Completing the missions for caves and spores will now increase the level of the Force Recon while keeping his leveling progress (in relative percentage).
• Increased Medusa radiation range from 300 to 600.
• Reduced the Hold Position armor bonus from 25 to 5.
• [Flamethrower]: Removed Fortitudine ability.
• [Flamethrower]: Added suit integrated blastocyst module ability. Adds HP regeneration and ailment resistance.

• Removed -uar command due to high desynchronization chance when getting player selections.
• [Forward Observer]: Added -fm command to set grid coordinates for MGRS Fire Missions.
• [Forward Observer]: Shell dispersion can now be changed by anyone if the player playing Forward Observer leaves the game.

Visual changes

• Removed light effect from artillery shell model. Increased size by 25%.

• Fixed typo in Lost Cause Iron Hand messages.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed secondary explosions missing from airstrikes, satchels and hellfires.

• [Flamethrower]: Getting ammunition from USS Independence when near max fuel will no longer result in fuel loss.
• [Combat Engineer]: The communications array will no longer be placed if the cast is interrupted.

• Internal refactor of Waves 6 to 9 into different vJass scopes.

Gameplay Changes

• The timer for securing Ravenholm in Lost Cause is now based on difficulty (30s, 45s, 60s)
• You can now replace the strobe for securing Ravenholm in Lost Cause the moment it is destroyed.
• The Laser Designator no longer overrides the camera quick position hotkey.
• Everyone can now change the number of fire mission shells if the player owning the FO or IUL leaves the game.
• Increased airfield communications tower activation radius from 325 to 450.
• Marine Command Authorization for Airstrikes is now given on Containment to align with the other variations of chapter 3.
• Garg waves will stop spawning when the airfield tower is destroyed in chapter 2.
• M320 will now have priority taking charges over M29 and Mk17 when picking up HEDP ammo.
• CWO Nadav's helicopter in Containment can now evacuate casualties.
• Added 3 new pet types.
• Hellfire upgrades no longer spawn if there's no MQ-3 Predator in the game.
• Zulu bosses can no longer spawn too close to players.
• Dark clouds can no longer reappear if they showed up at the start of chapter 1 and then disappeared (hell difficulty only).

• The EM Sphere now deals reduced damage (about 60%) in hell difficulty.
• Added chance of Laufey spawn in Magnificent Bastards.
• Attempting to fire the FGM-148 Javelin while too far away or too close to the target will no longer trigger cooldown.
• The FGM-148 Javelin can no longer be fired if the user doesn't have vision of the target.
• Taking control of a helicopter with a marine pilot will now increase zulu hp (same way as when marine reinforcements arrive).

ALICE Changes

• Added automatic trigger safety lock mechanism to prevent friendly fire when players are rank Lance Corporal or below.
• Trigger safety lock is also always enabled for units of player that have left the game.
• Changed tagging system ping color for bosses to be different from the player hit alert.

Visual changes

• Updated a few icons to HD.
• Decreased the Eris encounter RGB filter red component from 60 to 40.
• Changed the effect for Fire Missions / TOT missions / WP to be artillery shells instead of the infernal spawn effect.
• Added info in the Javelin tooltip to indicate that it can only be used by the Assaultman.
• The Javelin impact explosion now lasts until the smoke clears naturally, instead of disappearing immediately.
• [Delta Operator]: Updated tooltip of Covert Operations to prevent text from being cut in some screen resolutions.
• [Infantry Unit Leader]: The Defensive Stance buff is now shown as a buff instead of a debuff.

Bug Fixes

• The idle worker icon is no longer shown while using the FGM-148 Javelin.
• Fixed FGM-148 Javelin not having the correct model when being air dropped.
• Fixed FGM-148 Javelin items not being dropped when the carrier dies.
• The minimum value for changing acquisiton range is now 51 instead of 50.
• The pet Play Dead ability can no longer be used while jumping.
• Units that were being repaired on the airfield bay while chapter changed no longer get constant repair.
• USS Independence can no longer supply ammo above the limit.
• Zulus will no longer aggro on the airfield tower after Chapter 2 airfield defense is over.
• Golf explosives, vehicles and marines no longer spawn ghouls in Lost Cause.
• Explosives are no longer valid repair targets on the Airfield repair bay.
• Vehicles no longer use player ammunition.
• Experience loss (through gameplay or MOS change) is now saved on normal difficulty games for players ranked Colonel and above.
• Zulu bosses can no longer gain experience killing players.
• Fix field light effect disappearing when dropping Mk17 while holding the weapon.
• Marine Command Authorization for Landing Beacons, Airstrikes, Gunship Support and Fire Missions is now also given for leavers.
• The containment helicopter should no longer move before refueling.
• Fixed unit movement speed increasing permanently when picking up a second javelin item.

Gameplay Changes

• Parasite Mound damage increased from 15 to 20. The disease effect is now single target instead of AoE.
• You can now only carry 1 Javelin missile in your inventory (including empty missile tubes).
• Decreased the radius of damage done by items when being airdropped from 250 to 150.
• The Lyganesh CAS mission on Revelations can no longer happen after Chapter 2 ends.
• Defeating Havok now gives an XP bonus.

ALICE Changes

• The "-shells" command now only changes fire mission shells if used by a Forward Observer or Infantry Unit Leader.
• Improvements to the "ctrl + click" tagging system target detection.

Visual changes

• The scoreboard now displays simplified class icons instead of the HD icons for the heroes.
• Added different model for the Ground Illumination Flare instead of using the same one as the Smoke Grenades.

Bug Fixes

• Ghouls can no longer spawn from disease clouds.
• Fixed typo in Javelin CLU description.
• Fixed Javelin missile not homing on targets.
• Fixed Javelin CLU being unable to target spell immune units.
• Fixed explosive detonations not preventing immortal resurrection.
• Updated Revelations Eris death event detection.
• Updated "-kick" command to reduce chance of desync.
• Marines will now reload when they reach 0 mana instead of attempting to shoot without ammo.

Gameplay Changes

• Added Hell difficulty.
• Immortals killed with TX-1 ammunition now have a lower chance of resurrection.
• Increased the number of LZ names on Magnificent Bastards to 12.
• You can now save when you get more than 3000 experience in a game. The limit is still in place, so only 3000 will be saved if you go above it.
• Pilot is now available as a reinforcement on Chapter 1.
• Updated DAO item description to reflect damage increase.
• Reduced Monofilament Cartridge stun duration from 2s to 1.5s for Marksman minis.
• Added Field Marshal rank at 1M exp. +1 damage, +0.02 attack speed, +0.03 energy regeneration, +2 move speed, -7HP, +15 sight range. Can order hold position to all ranks. Double chance of pilot reinforcement. Extra skill point on spawn.
• Unknown entities spawned from Prometheus corpse are now timed life. Parasites are still the same.
• Added new watchtower in the SW entrance of the airfield. Slightly adjusted pathing for all towers.
• Added FN Mk17 (SCAR-H) battle rifle for Rifleman/Infantry Unit Leader.
• You can no longer get a fracture while jumping (to prevent instant death)
• Extra 50 XP to all Marines when all 16 civilians make it through the Convoy Mission. 75 XP on Nightmare. 100xp on Hell.
• Field combat rank experience is now shared map wide.
• C-130 item drops now deal damage the moment they touch the ground, not before.
• Chain explosives can now be stacked up to 9 without Ordnance Handling to match default stack size of 3.
• The current saving algorithm doesn't allow encoding experience values above 1M, so saving is now limited automatically to 1M. This should fix bugged codes when you have more experience than this.
• Civilians will now drop inventory items when boarding USS Independence.
• Marine Pilots can no longer pick up heavy weapons and special ammunition.
• Removed inventory from USS Independence.
• The cobras chasing the Flesh Composite during Chapter 1 no longer have hellfire missiles.
• Chain explosives now deal extra damage if detonated by claymores.
• Reloading manually is now slightly faster than reloading automatically.
• Added buff icon for immortal resurrection damage immunity.
• Immortals can now be killed by claymores and chain explosives.
• Added message when reloading pistol.
• Diablo can no longer spawn when there are less than 4 players alive.
• Decreased Parasite mounds base damage from 35 to 15. But they will now inflict disease on every hit and will never inflict any other ailment.
• Changed the mechanic for securing Ravenholm during Lost Cause. The mission is now placing and protecting an infrared strobe for 30 seconds.
• [MQ3 Predator]: New ability "FLIR sector scan". Unlocked by Hellfire Upgrade. Performs a thermal scan of Zulus on the sector.
• [Designated Marksman]: Reduced stun duration of Monofilament Cartridge to half and added slow effect.
• [Assaultman]: Updated text and icon for MD5 stun effect. It was previously the default impale effect.
• [Assaultman]: Increased starting energy from 100 to 150.
• [Assaultman]: Added SMAW AoE reticle.
• [Assaultman]: Added FGM-148 Javelin missile launcher item.
• [Forward Observer]: Added ALICE notification when Perimeter Intelligence is activated.
• [Forward Observer]: Remove Transceiver ability.

• [Forward Observer]: White phosphorus now reduces the armor of the units hit by the initial explosions for a few seconds.
• [Combat Engineer]: Reduced number of levels of Critical Strike from 7 to 5, increased the damage of each level. Now insert shells is granted at level 2 instead of level 3.
• [Infantry Unit Leader]: Switched hotkey for defensive stance to "S".
• [Combat Engineer]: Updated projectile speed from 2250 to 2500.
• [Delta Operator]: The CM bonus armor aura dummy is now invisible and unclickable.

ALICE Changes

• Updated ALICE Operations Manual to include view '3' and '4'.
• Team colors are now disabled by default on survival (no need to type -tc -1 anymore). No change for deathmatch.
• ACA is now disabled by default. An ALICE message will be shown alerting that ACA is available for privates if they want to enable it.
• The "-team" command now displays the classes for KIA marines.
• ALICE will now display a message to all players when the M242 is disassembled.
• The "-report" command now displays the squad experience factor. This value is a percentage where 100% is the initial factor for normal difficulty with 0 squad rating. It can increase or decrease depending on many factors throughout the game. The higher it is, the more rank experience the squad will earn.
• Increased degree of randomness based on user input for the "-random" command.
• Added new "-ar x" command to set the acquisition range of your hero between 50 and the max attack range.
• Added new "-uar x" command to set the acquisition range of your selected unit between 50 and the max attack range.
• Added new "-norf" command to opt out of reinforcements for players with rank of MajGen and above.
• Shell adjustment messages are now only shown to the player doing them.
• Added context tagging system for communicating locations to allies.
• Added new "-kick x" command to kick a player (red player only).

Visual changes

• Added new loading screen with 2k resolution.
• Added new icon, updated name and description for Lost Cause enhanced energy regeneration buff.
• Added new custom icon for the detonation cord item.
• Changed monofilament debuff icon to make it different from the flare debuff
• Remove extra line break in CE net skill description.
• Removed leaves from terrain without trees around Residence 41
• Change position of barrels in SAF.

• Added new model for the Communications Tower in the airfield.
• Updated helicopter model with proper collision. This should make it harder to accidentally click the helicopters at the airfield.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed intro music not playing.
• The enhanced energy regeneration ability granted during Lost Cause was taking up an ability slot. It will now be always hidden.
• You will no longer lose extra energy cells if you have more than required when entering power generator during Nightstalkers.
• Lieutenant Oliver can no longer trigger fire missions after he dies during Lost Cause.
• Marines that spawn on the Containment helicopter are now controled by the AI instead of the dark green player.
• Fixed immortal AI to make them attack the unit that killed them immediately on resurrection.
• Updated Lost Cause golf helicopter spawn message from Iron Hand. It no longer says "Patching in its last known coordinates".
• Orbital Artillery shock is no longer permanent.
• Refactored weather effect caching. This should fix effects like BHD wind not disappearing after a while like they are supposed to.
• The "Attack Formation" sound will no longer play for the Lyganesh F-22s after it has been called off.
• Fixed color used in text commands for dark green player to be dark green instead of light blue.
• Fixed positioning of Containment helicopter minis.
• Added small wait between evacuating kilos and evacuating civs to avoid missed bodies.
• The Lyganesh CAS mission on Revelation will no longer hit the east side of Ravenholm.
• The survivors of Black Hawk Down can no longer be rescued from town.
• Failing to rescue the Black Hawk Down will no longer result in extra spawns for Chapter 1.
• Fixed stats for Drill Instructor Ribbon not being applied.
• Reduced energy cell discharge bonus from 200 to 150 to match the tooltip.
• Added failsafe to prevent giving moirae speed boost to other bosses.
• Hades and Diablo will no longer snatch players with dead or unselected heroes.
• Fixed incorrect hotkey text for Satellite Imaging ability (General) on communications module.
• Fixed shotgun sound missing on intro C.
• Using NVG or Sat Scan on the comms module no longer disables FPS mode.
